Laura Linney

Laura Linney (born February 5 1964 New York New York U.S.) American actress best known for playing strong yet vulnerable characters. Linney is from a theatre heritage, her father is the playwright Romulus Linney. Linney graduated from Arts Theatre School, Moscow in 1986. She then completed an M.F.A. at Juilliard School. New York City was her first stop in the 1990s. In the year 1990, she began her career in shows on Broadway eventually earning praise for her roles as Hedda Gabler in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
